Default Suspension components recommendations

Hi All,

I have an 03 6MT that I am modifying to hopefully make more fun on the street and at AutoX. I have purchased already some Koni Yellow shocks (coils are too expensive for me at the moment), Swift Spec R springs, and Z1 adjustable front upper control arms. My question is should i buy any rear suspension components? I think some of my rear bushings (not sure exactly which ones off the top of my head) are on their way out, but i also dont want to over spend.

I really just want to be able to change my camber and toe for now so i can take advantage of that when i get some new tires. I would like some adjustment but dont think i need full control over everything at this time. Are just rear adjustable camber arms a good route to go down? Should i get something else to compliment them with or steer clear all together? I am also planning on getting an eccentric lockout kit since those are pretty cheap.

Any suspension advice to help make my car more adjustable/ more responsive is appreciated since im pretty new to this. Thanks!

For what you want to do, recommend rear camber arms like these: https://conceptzperformance.com/spc-...050_p_4355.php These come with the offset washer/bolts for toe adjustment on cars with the standard shock/spring configuration. There are tons of them on the Concept Z site (or Z1 or wherever) but I honed in on these since I've been running them for many years with no issues. These give you plenty of adjustment so if you wanna go really negative for Autocross, you can take them out pretty far.

I was actually shocked to see the price was so low. Pretty sure I paid a lot more 6-7 years ago. You can spend a fortune but you don't need to unless you're going hardcore track.

You've purchased a good setup in the Koni/Swift combo. I would strongly recommend a good set of adjustable sway bars. Hotchkis are the go-to but Eibach and Stillen offer adjustables as well.

I think i might go with OEM rear upper control arms, and adjustable camber arms like was mentioned and an eccentric lockout kit. I will be running poly bushing control arms in front and rubber bushings in the rear with this set up. Will that be an issue in terms of handling?

Should i go with adjustable rear control arms as well?

Just want to make sure im only buying what i need to be able to adjust camber/toe front to back

I think you'll be ok with just getting some adjustable rear camber arms. You've already got the adjustable FUCA's which was a good call. Whenever you adjust any type of alignment settings, it changes everything in the front and rear, so you'll be able to dial everything in exactly how you want it with the rear arms.
