Z32 Parking Brake on Z33?
So I've tried to do some research on the topic and seem to find varying answers to this question...
My z33 parking brake sucks. Like, big time. I've adjusted behind the rear discs, adjusted at the 10mm nut in the centre console, replaced the shoes and all but still cannot get the car to hold reliably on my considerably steep driveway. It's driving me insane.
That said, I've heard whispers in the breeze about bolt-on easy fitment of the z32, r32, r33 & r34 parking brake setup into a z33. I'd like to just swap the shoes and adjuster setup - not the rotors and/or calipers (unless this would be necessary). They do seem to be fairly similar.
Would this work, and would it provide as much as an improvement as I'm led to believe? Can anyone confirm or deny? And how much should I look to pay for an OEM set of rear brake shoes from these older models?
EDIT: This would be for the non-Brembo OEM brake systems, of course.
Many thanks in advance!
