Default Steering falling to lock by itself

I installed a Gktech angle kit & rack spacers, everything was properly installed & allingned ( including centering the rack with the steering wheel ) Now when I'm close to full angle the steering falls to lock by itself & it doesn't go back. I knew it was going to do that because of the 2 lower control arms design & extended rack tie rods but is there a way to mitigate this problem other than buying the single arm design that Gktech offers. I was thinking that offset rack spacers may help this problem. ANY GUIDANCE IS APPRECIATED.

The description seems like nothing is out of the ordinary. The mechanism consists of a spring loaded pin, square profile, which jumps/protrudes upwards after removing key. This engages into one of approx 36 slots in the steering wheel hub.

why do you need to lock the wheel at full angle? are you talking about drifting at Max or parking the car with the key out?
