Hey everyone! I bought a 2004 350z recently and I’m working on replacing the break pads but I’m having trouble identifying the aftermarket calipers that came with the car. They are stoptechs but I can not for the life of me identify which ones they are. There doesn’t seem to be any visible identification number either. I’ve attached photos. Any help is appreciated!
Yeah based on what I’ve found, it sounds like the front are st40s and the rear are st22’s. They are for sure discontinued versions of them and I’m not sure if they’re still making the pads for them. I’ll measure the rotors diameter when I get home.
Very nice brakes! I'm sure pads can still be found. They may not produce these for 350Z/G35s anymore, but I'm sure the dimensions and pad size has carried over to newer models for other vehicles.
Cheers!

I can assure you, if they are the ST40/22 combination, pads ARE available. (And I'm never wrong. Except when I am.) The ST40 is perhaps the most widely used aftermarket brake kit out there and not just Z cars. They are built for application across the entire performance (and even not-so-performance) car lineups.... Z cars, P-cars, B-cars, Subies, Toys, you name it, there's an ST40 caliper/rotor combination for it. Hawk, EBC, Carbotech, etc. They all offer pads for this caliper/rotor combination. Same caliper, nearly same rotor setups, just some having different mounting. (Similar to how Brembo caliper/rotors can match across the Z33 and Subaru WRX lines. Same physical attributes.)
What I would do just to make sure, take the pads out and trace/make a cardboard template and look around at brake providers, some will show the pads and you can compare your template with them. But again, might be overkill as these brakes are pretty ubiquitous.
