gets rid of the freeway bounce....

NISMO Suspension / sways etc work with VDC... they just did not test on a VDC Car so for a liability issue they say "no vdc"... but nothing to wory about...

as for feathering... we think it is linked to a spring rate issue with the stock springs and shocks and is resolved with new springs... or full suspension... but dont know for sure

Well, another testimonial : got rid of the bounce for sure. I had it every single day at the same piece of road. Day after Eibachs were installed : no bounce.

Camber adjusted using rear adjustable arms from Kinetix.

Extremely happy with the setup.

camber isnt horrible.. it is like the drop of the S-Tune... Mine and Jeff's Z sit almost exactly the same..

THey wont be tucked under to the point where you cant put your finger in and have to feel upwards to feel the top of the tire... but, it will definatly get rid of the wheel gap...

figure our tire diamaters are the same...

And of course this makes a perfect oppertunity to take a good before and after shot as well as offer a limited time special on Eibach 350z Coupe Springs for $202.02.

I have 31000 miles on my Z. So the stock springs have settled in a bit so it sits slightly lower then most stock Z's...

How do they feel. My Z with the stock springs was bouncy, lots of body roll on turns, and every little bump you hit you really felt. With the EIBACH's the car sits lower, less body roll, and those little bumps are barely noticed and there is no more freeway bounce. It really is amazing at how just changing the springs on this car even to TEIN or Other Spring / Coil over systems makes such a huge difference.

Here is a before shot (morning before changing springs...
Thank you Jason for this useful information. When I get my tax return I plan on upgrading my suspension to resolve the dreaded bounce and tire feathering. At the moment I am torn between the Tein Basic solely because it is cheaper and the Nismo S-Tune. Little_rod from this forum provided the spring rate of the two and here they are:

Stock:
347lb linear front and 419lb linear rear.

Nismo:
448lbs linear front and 504lbs rear progressive

Tein Basic:
504lbs linear front and 504lbs rear linear

The question I have is in regards to the ride comfort. Will having a lower spring rate in the front and progressive on the rear be a softer ride?

The ride with the TEIN Basic and the NISMO is so similar I can barely tell a difference...

Hey, my oem spring rate info above has changed, I did a post to announce it so people could get the new info, guess not everone saw the post.

New oem rates are 314/342, which as some people have noticed, makes a lot of aftermarket rates make sense, and some still make no sense at all

I just ordered my Einachs for the $202.02 special. The web page still appears to charge you the total regular price, but Jenny replied to my email and assured me my card was charged the "special" rate.

Thanks again, Jeff, Jeason, and Jenny!

I have read a few posts from people doing this install themselves... I am or am I not going to need a spring compressor? If I do need one, anyone know if I can "borrow" one from Autozone for a deposit?

If the Nismo's are 448 and 504, you could get the same springs for the Tein Basics with an additional spring upgrade of $165 for 448 lbs springs for the fronts. Got this info from GSedan35.

So Nissan softened the spring rates for the European ride! No wonder the rear is so bouncy with the old stock springs/OEM shocks.
