I was wondering, if steel made brakeline really helps in brake performance.
If so, how much difference in performance does it make?
Can you really feel the difference?
Is it worth $200?
Need your input or your experiance.

Hi ssk0771:
Please Check Out the StopTech Web Site...
J Ritt is the StopTech Guru and Is A Member on this site..
The actual Brake Line Construction is more than a "Steel Line"
Also look at the Performance Nissan site. Jason has a good price.
The feel with the Improved lines is - If Cold or Burning hot the Brake Feel is that the pedal is up at the top. Stock lines feel spongy after about three hard stops. You know the feeling - darn I'm getting closer to the guy ahead of me each time I stop...
If you get that feeling.. Front and Rear lines are the cheapest upgrade on the Z. Mutol 600 brake fluid - get two bottles at about 15 U.S.D. Each and you will have the best stock brakes one can have.
If thats not enough for Hwy/Street then put on the big brakes. Ha!
Cheers Amy

It all depends on what you are going to do with the car.
If it is a street car then they will probably not do you much good and use your money on something else. The SS brake lines do more good on older cars that have old lines.
If you are going to attaned track events then yes, combined with the synthetic brake fluid it will help a lot.
