Talking I know I know another Spring Thread

Ok now thati have read all the threads on Springs I need to compose my own!

I have a 2004 PPW 350Z Coupe and want to lower it but dont want the inherant Camber crap that plagues us all. I am interested in Tein, RS-R, Espelir, Tanabe and Eibach, I have read that Eibach is great but too soft, I heard that Tein is great but not linear, and havent heard alot about Tanabe but it seems there are alot of opinions. I want to keep my tires as long as I can. I have 19 inchers Volk GT-7s coming in a couple of weeks and want to make sure it will look good but also be great in handling and cornering! So I guess my question is what is the best all around spring to choose for Spirited Dailey Driving that gives you great ride and handling along with minimal wear on your shocks and tires!!?

Thanks !

i have RS-Rs and love them..

Better performance, slightly better ride quality and it lower the car by .6 in both the front and rear.

What i have read about these tho is there progressive in the front and linear in the rear.

The same thing could be said of the Teins. They are progressive in front and linear in the rear. Advertised drop for the Teins are 0.7" front and 0.6" rear. I think someone is selling a brand new set in the classifieds.

wow do the s.tech's really lower your car more than an inch? I was under the impression that they only lowered around 1/2 an inch or so. Oh and has anyone tried the new hotchkis springs?

Question- I saw on hopupracing that the Stech's lower the Z .7f and .6r, but the springs for the G35C lower 1.2f and .9r. Are these the same springs and the stock springs are different or are these two different size springs???hmmm...If they are the same, that would mean that a G35C could put stock Z springs and lower the car by .5f and .3r????Is this correct?

Default Warning!

I have read this as well. The springs can be used on either or vehicle but the spring rates are different on a 350 thatn on a G35 and it does make a difference! I am not sure if the springs are totally different as of size but I know for sure that the rates are different.!

To qualify, they are different in the aftermarket. Oem to oem, they are the same. Aftermarket G35 spring rates, if one plans any aggresive driving, needs to be looked at very closely. Sometimes the G rates make little sense, except the persuit of comfort.
