Default eibachs too low?

i'm going to be buying a set of eibach springs soon. the roads where i live here in NC are average, but what i'm interested to know is if you folks with eibachs have noticed a lot more problems with scraping the undercarriage. i know the drop is about an inch, i just want to know if i'm gonna be getting tore up on every speed bump and sloping driveway. thanks.

I only have problems with extreme angles, and I also have a veilside lip, which cuts clearance even more. speed bumps arent a problem, unless they are really big.

Just installed the eibachs. Perfect drop...looks really nice. So far no problems. You should be alright for speed bumps and what not...just watch for very steep driveways.

aside from hitting stuff, did those who dropped with the eibachs require any adjustments to camber front or rear?

Are people in general upgrading the struts as well?

hey chuck i live in Raleigh....I lowered my Z just a little over 1.5 inches.....medium to steep inclines scrapes the under side of my front lip on my car ...speed bumps scrape part of my nismo exhaust pipe .......it sucks but you might not have the same issues if your drop is only an inch......i have to be uber careful everywhere i drive, my body kit is a Wald and it lowers teh profile of the car and extra 1.5 inches ...my car has just over two inches of clearance to the road surface......but it looks so cool

It is not necessary but I recommend Camber adjuster. your tires will wear uneven. However, having sid this, I still love an enjoy the drop. looks great, feels great.

Let me be a little more precise: you'll need REAR camber adjusters with the Eibachs. Otherwise, the rear camber is too high on the negative side and is not adjustable with the factory eccentric adjusters. The front A-arms are not adjustable, but the drop puts them in the 2-2.5 degree (negative) range and that's not a bad thing for a car with as much understeer as the 350Z has.

I installed the Eibachs on my Redline track model last year and really like them. There are some speed bumps that will cause scraping and I just take them very slowly to minimize it. You get very creative in trying to pick routes to miss speed bumps, extreme angles in driveways, etc. , but honestly, it hasn't been that big a deal.
