Default GReddy brake kits *chrome/gold calipers*

Just saw this on another forum. These brakes look sick!

I wonder if that gold will match my iForged wheels.

It has the prices on the pic I posted. I'm sure vendors would offer a decent % off of that retail price. The kits come w/ rotors and lines too.

Does anyone have a picture of them on a Z? I can't decide gold or polished.

These are cheaper than the Project mU kits. Project mU or GREX....very tough decision.

Grex would probably be my 3rd choice but those polished calipers are gorgeous.

I love the mU colour scheme but I don't think it'd go so well with my car (superblack).

Anyone know if you can get Alcon brakes for the Z?
Otherwise, I'll most likely be going with Endless.

Pyroteknix:

Trust Japan sells Alcon brake kit for Z33. See the following link. It is in Japanese though.

Thanks a lot for the link.

Visual comparisons would show that there seems to be very little difference between the two?

Still...Alcon. *drools*

May be Trust/Greddy just relabel the Alcon calipers.

Since Alcon is in UK, you may be able to get Alcon calipers cheaper in UK.

I like this one also. Yep, two calipers. Go to the web site. www.hpracing.com.

if you will race the car, they won't stay shiny for a day... if you don't ... why do you need bigger brakes?

Why do you need all the power of a Z?

Alot of people appreciate the stopping power of big brakes.

I bought my track model specifically for the brakes. Although I havent tracked my car yet (I intend to) I do drive aggressively and have had trouble with stock brakes in the past.

Dont forget the looks value. Some people do it for just that. I know you look on such upgrades (for show only) with scorn, but try and remember everyone doesnt have your taste, and whether you like it or not, agree with it or not, people will be buying big brake kits just so people can see a big meaty caliper and disc peeking out from behind a nice wheel.

Well, I was thinking about getting the stoptech 14" front and 13" rear (that's supposed to be out shortly) but these just went to the top of the list if they will fit under the stock 18" G35 wheel. (I have the CP F-Tuned 19"s but I'll need the stock 18"s with winter rubber on them for the cold weather.)

Does anyone have any details on this in terms of pad fitment (street and track) and if the rotors are a floating 2 piece design?

I'd also welcome PM's from the vendors with their best offers for the F & R in gold (not polished).
