Street Pads (non Brembo) Hawk HPS or Nismo?
Which pads are the best option for street use? I am sick and tired of cleaning the brake dust from the OEM pads off my wheels. The Hawk pads are cheaper but don't come with backing plates. If you use the Hawk pads I understand that you have to take the backing plates off the stock pads and reuse them. The Nismo pads apparently come with backing plates.
Any thoughts or suggestions. Also how do each perform? I am concened about squeaking and how each works when cold.

I don't like the Nismo for street use because the don't really bite until they get hot. Once they get hot the do bite real good, however. I only had the Nismo dust my wheels on high speed track events. They worked fine for a 1.6 mile road course because they didn't get to hot. When I ran a 2.1 mile course I was only able to run 4 laps. I ran them down to metal to metal and they looked like charcoal.
