Default My Nissan SUV Wheel Alignment

My wife's Xterra is a year old and has less than 7k miles on it. It has never been off road and the vehicle is in excellent shape. The SUV pulls to the right now. I am not sure if it always did this, as I don't drive it much and my wife hasn't got a clue. My question is: Is an alignment for a car as new as mine covered by the Nissan warranty? I'd hate to have to pay for something that isn't my fault. I just don't think a car should be out of alignment so soon. Thanks.

It would surprise me if your alignment was covered under the warranty. The 350z alignmnet issue is known and there is a TSB for it (if that's what you're thinking). As for needing an alignment so soon, theoretically one could throw the car out of alignment driving home on the day you bought the car a year ago.

Thanks. That's what I thought, but I just downloaded a .pdf warranty from Nissan USA and it says that "adjustments" like alignments are covered for 12 months or 12K, which ever comes first.

Sweeeet! Though you said it's a year old, and 12 months is... well you know. Hope you are under the wire. Luckily, even if you aren't, it's not a $800 repair anyhow, though free is always better than $any.
