Default Curved Vane Brake Rotors

Was checking out some images from the gallery (link below). Image #12 specifically shows the GT with a nice set of curved vane rotors. I have been looking around for a set of these, and haven't had much luck.

Also, anybody know if Nismo plans on releasing that GT bonnet?

Thanks!

Default Bonnet

haha... **** sorry... bonnet is australian for hood.

here is a good view of it:

I've seen similar after market products but never feel comfortable about how well they would fit. Pretty confident the Nismo would fit nice and tight.

The "vanes" you see are only the results of them doing the finishing grinds on the rotor. After a few laps, they would be gone. However, inside the rotor are vanes that help disseminate heat, and those might be curved.

What you see in that picture is way too many holes in cross-drilled rotors. The holes probably follow the vanes. You don't need more than 20 or 30 holes in a rotor.

Most (if any anymore) racecars don't use cross-drilled rotors since it weakens the structural integrity of the rotor. Slotted rotors is a different story though...

Default Not sure about that

Actually, I think those aren't drilled. After a bit more research, I found out that the vanes are a rotor internal feature, but that curved slots do exist, and that they are popular on performance brakes.
