Default Stock NON Brembo Brake Value?

What is a fair price to pay for a complete set of used non brembo brakes including lines, bolts, pads and rotors, with average miles. I have seen them sold for $40.00 and have been offered to buy them at $1000.00. I just want a real number to go buy, all your help is really appreciated!

Do a search under jason@perfmancenissan narrowed in the user classified parts section. He had for sale a while back all the parts your talking about. If I recall he sold everything for $150 or their abouts. Not any demand to speak of kill's the resale of certain Z parts. My buying oem Z shocks and springs for $150 shipped is a good example and ebay is filled with $50 complete oem exhaust systems.

[edit]

Well I just tried to find Jason's post, I mean I really tried, no dice. I did notice that the non brembo ads for complete sets were up their in price and none of them had bites.

Thanks for the info, I feel the same about demand dictating the price. However when I post that I want a set all logic is thrown out the window. Do you think $300 for all 4 should get it done?
