Do the brakes make any noises?
Do the pads make any noises when cold?
What happens if you get a flat tyre, can the spare fit on?

The brakes are as quiet as stock...and the dusting is waaaaay less. I'd estimate they are creating about 20% of the dust level of stock..maybe even less than that.
No, the spare tire well never fit on the brakes. Even if they could, my car would be scraping on the ground...so it's a mute point for me.

I hadnt thought about puting the spare on with the car lowered.
What would you do if you did get a flat?

I get call AAA and a flatbed to tow me home. Big Brake kits, for the most part, and not compatible with spare tires. The 13inch kit MIGHT fit..but not really sure. Either way, since my car is about 3.5 inches off the ground, I can't use a spare.

THanks man! It's been fun!
I am still waiting for the pistons and head/main studd kit to arrive in a couple of weeks. Then I can begin the engine work. I imagine it will be at least 2 months before everything is installed and running in my car.
In the meantime, I am still boosting 9psi, and just hoping my engine holds together...I try not to WOT it too much either...but sometimes....I cant help myself.

gq_626,
I'm having problems with a rear wilwood install.
Would you mind looking at the pictures in this thread
and give some pointers?

the brakes are awesome and they look awesome on your ride. I love my 13" front kit and the brakes have 99% less dust than stock. I can go months and months without a wash and my rims still look clean. for me, that alone was almost good enough for the cost of the kit... I hated my wheels getting dirty 3 days after a wash. as always, sherwin is da man!!!

I think maybe that you should up the sidewall size just a tad, what are they at right now?
Also, nice rims, nice bodykit, and nice, sweet, godly brakes
