How good is the Brembo brake? anyone??
I want to know what's the spec. for the brembo brake on the track model? anyone?? like... how good is it compares to the Sport / GT Brembo brake system. I sent an email to Brembo and ask them for the part # and spec. , but they are kinda slow on replying. I need to decide whether I should get the track model or the performance model in couple days.... help~!
p.s. I'm in Canada, so I think the performance model is like the manual version of touring in US. I might be wrong... but you get the idea..
Thanks,

For the specs on the Brembo brake, check the 3rd post down in this thread: https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....&threadid=9777
As for how well it works... pretty damn impressive. At the track, slowing from 120+ to 60mph going in to T1 for several laps, I experienced no brake fade. If I pushed it harder, I have no doubt I could get the brakes a tad bit mushy, but I had to drive the car home afterwards, so I'll wait until I get a 2nd set of pads.

Thread revival!
I have a 2006 Enthusiast (non-brembo) and recently picked up a set of OEM Brembo calipers from a 2007 Z. I have also ordered a set of Powerslot (Centric) slotted front and rear rotors, stainless steel brake lines, and I will be using the OEM Brembo pads. Understanding that the 2006 standard OEM brakes are larger than the 2003-2005, will I notice much braking performance improvement between the 2006 OEM and Brembo systems?
EDIT: I should also add that I held the Brembo calipers up to my OEM non-Brembo's, and the non-brembo's looked to be about the same size. I guess the difference in braking force would come from twice as many pistons per caliper?
