Default whats the trick to getting front strut out?

So I'm replacing struts but I cant seem to get it out. I pull down on the upper A-arm to try to pull the bottom of the strut free but am having no luck. I've also unhooked the fsb as well.

Use the jack that came with the car and put it between the upper a-arm and the inner fender. Be careful and make sure its stable. This will give you enough clearance to get the whole strut assembly out without spring compressors. Hope this helps.

I remember those damn struts!!!! For me, it just took a lot of wiggling and four letter words.

A little late but ... when putting on my Konis, I just unbolted the stabilizer bar endlink, loosened (but don't remove) the shock tower nuts, then have your buddy push down on the hub/rotor assy. I didn't have to remove the nut from the UCA ball joint.
