Just wondering, the last time anything was said about these was last year. Has anybody else installed these, what do they think. I personally think they look great, and well built. Any more opinions?

Run a search on my username under megan I wrote a review. Though to make a long story short if your expectation's are low you'll like them. If you know what makes a good suspension good, make another choice. Dominating theme is underdampning and too much impact harshness.

Yeah i read your review already, i was just wondering it anybody new has installed and ran them for a while. I'm not really interested in a super suspension system that will kick a$$ at the track. Just something a bit more sturdy than the stock suspension, and adjustable. Mainly for street use with maybe some track time.

Ya, I also read the review but have not seen anything fresh on these coilovers. I was going to buy them because there cheap and someone I know put these on there 240x and they love them. I'm ready to buy right now if anyone else is so maybe we can get a better price? Anyways I'm not going to spend over $1600 for some coilovers, **** that.

If your thinking about using the megan racing coilovers for the track then that means you'll be parting out your Z soon when you crash it.

I think you need to see that video clip of the megan racing drift car plowing into the tree again.

I didn't say i was going to track it, i said i might track it, but i'm not gonna go for a set of superstiff coilovers for driving around town, as i think i may need spinal surgery earlier than i thought. I do like the HKS lineup of coilovers, and i've heard they've got really good ride for daily driving, and still hold out well on the track, but i think their a tad overpriced.

Besides, as long as it improves the handling over stock, i'm happy. Add some decent sway bars and a full complement of polyurethane bushings, and you've got a fairly decent setup.

if you might track the car, I wouldn't really suggest going with a coilover with a ton of adjustment..........because you really won't use it often.

Everyone told me to get the tein flex with EDFC, and I've had adjustables on other cars before. Even if I track this car, I went with the nismo. I figure with the nismo, my wheel/tire combo, and some properly adjusted sways, it'd be a capable track car if that ever became a priority. I just liked reading the reviews on the nismo and how the ride quality improves with them.

Just to chime in on the Megan Racing stuff and the accident you are speaking of. From what I have read, the Megan car was running great that entire day prior to it hitting the tree or whatever it did hit. My understanding is that a new driver ran it that particular run and thats when it went into the tree. Also, I had a set of MR test pipes and the build quality looked to be on par with other top brand names. The ONLY downside to those was that the resonator was TOO small and did not deaden the rasp hardly at all!

It seems like there are a lot og guys on here dissing MR because their products are priced cheaper than the others. A lot of the companies who make stuff for the Z know the price of the Z and the target market. The vendors then mark up their pricess accordingly... all because they figure if we can afford the car, we can pay more for mods! Maybe MR is not the same. mayb they just want our business and they realize that the way to get our business is through lower priced parts! I dont know, but I am just theorizing!

During the weekend, i switch my car with my friend for a 300 miles drive and i can't tell the different between his Megan Coilover with my Koni Shock/Eibach Spring combo. I paid $1400 for my set while he paid only $840. Go figure.

I think thats where I am going. I dont think the MR stuff is crap like everyone is claiming solely based on price. Everyone sees a product that is 1/2 the cost so they automatically assume the quality is the same. It may not be as high of quality, but I am sure it is not total crap as most people on here portray! Hell, you have proven that just because a body kit is cheap, it is not crap.
