The Compounds



The two most popular are the DS2500 and DS3000

DS2500 - one of the most popular compounds out there. These are a true dual purpose pad, and are suitable for street and club type tack days (NASA, time trials, etc). They work great even when dead cold, and can deal with a wide range of tires for you track guys. Dust levels are reasonable for a performance pad, and they not only last a substantial amount longer than some lesser competitor pads, yet remain very friendly on your rotors. If you like a very responsive pedal, these are a great choice to consider as well.

DS3000 - this is regarded as one of the most consistent, reliable track pads in the business. These are widely used in various forms of GT and Touring car. These bed in very quickly compared to other manufacturer pads, have a very high mu rating for a stable, firm pedal and a very strong initial bit.
