oh man, insurance prices for new drivers, speciall new drivers who will be driving a sports car, will be as you said, through the roof. My only suggestion to you is check every possible insurance company, have them all quote you, and then compare.

Also I don`t know about where you live, but in arizona if you have a 3.0+ GPA it lowers your car insurance, and if you go through driving school and/or drivers ed. it lowers it some more.

just my .02

Your 16 driving an expensive sports car. If your putting yourself as the only driver on the policy, your not going to get cheap insurance, even in KY.

Your best option is to probably have your parents insure it under them and list you as a driver and pay the difference.

Well in that case your going to have to use whomever your parents use, unless they are willing to switch.

Since the Z comes with stuff like an alarm, airbags, and ABS, that will help a little bit. Keep your grades up and be smart on the road (DON'T SPEED OR STREET RACE) and you'll be ok insurance wise.
