If anything, you`ll get bored with automatic... With manual you`re constantly shifting and whatnot, but then again with AT there`s the manual mode as well..

I`m going to save you a **** load of flaming and tell you this: test drive them both. You`ll be able to tell which one is right for you. Either way, it`s a lot of fun.

I have an AT and no complaints

Halla Wallah!

Congrats on you choice, the Z is the way to go

I was in your situation. I have decided to go for manual. I would rather be bored of driving manual than being sorry of not getting one!

So far, I am enjoying it and I guess I will never get bored.

I know I can find out how the AT is by test driving one, but how "manual" is the AT's manual mode? Can you still down shift and up shift like a regular MT? I have a MT Eclipse right now I love driving it, but hitting stop-and-go traffic can be a *****, which I often do where I live.

Yes, you can downshit by going to - and shift up by going to +

just a lot less room for error

If you already know how to drive a mt than the choice should be obvious. A sports car like the Z is more rewarding with mt. It makes you feel more connected and gives you more control of the car IMO.

If you don't know how to drive a stick than the Z may not be the best car to learn on. Learn to drive a stick on someone else's car.

Totally agree about how rewarding is the Z in MT.

I didn't drive a manual car for the last 6 years (maybe on rare Occasions only), but I got used to my MT Z in a week. and now I am enjoying every single moment

Traffic is quite a headache but who cares

Test drive both, and also assess whether this is going to be a commuter car, track car, or weekend driving car. This should also help with your decision.

I never had a manual or even a car yet, but I do want a manual Z just because it would be most fun to drive and plus a sports car should be driven with 2 hands and 2 feet!

Hey,

I bought mine sbout 7 months ago (auto. silver). sometimes i wish i had bought the manual. but i love it the way it is. i think the auto. balances the car out (so i don't get too crazy driving ).

Congrats on your Z. I was almost going to buy my Z from Saudi since the dealer from bahrain get a limited numbers of Manual.
