I'd say wait...there is another post here about 06's in Canada and it sounds really good. Standard 18's, bi-xenon, rev up motor, and bigger brakes. Good luck.

But wouldn't he save a nice wad of cash by cashing in on the incentives of the 05's?

I'm already getting a 5% discount on the price seeing as my ad agency handles the Nissan account. But i'd do without the % if the 06 Z has all muscle of the 35th anniv- Problem is, we dont get the same models you guys in North America are getting; anyway, if any of you guys have a minute, visit www.nissan-me.com/z/z.htm or http://www.nissan-me.com/350z/index.htm if you want the full specs on the UAE Z;

Let me know what you think of the model they bring here; its my only choice and i'm going to buy it no matter what, but i'd still appreciate some feedback from the pros

cheers

Hey dude, I'm in the same boat but I chose to wait for an 06', if I waited this long I can wait until next spring/summer when it's prime time to drive one. Plus they will have been introduced already by that point so you can probably haggle the price down a little lower than if you bought them as soon as they hit the market.

EDIT** well if you're from DUBAI I guess you don't really have winter...so yea...just ignore that one part about spring/summer prime time.

If you've got the money just get the 06. It's almost here any ways.

Ah yes.. winter.. i miss winter.. rain.. snow.. extra slippery donuts on random roads.. but ever since i moved out here.. friggin temperature... its like 100 Fahrenheit and humidity is at 100%!! i open my car door, then close it, and my damn windows fog up its not normal...

but anyway, back the Z- i guess the 06 will be here in a few months so... i think i'll wait and cash in on the new stuff getting hooked up- (unless i sleep-walk to the dealer ) I'm heading to the dealership on Saturday and my deposit is either going to an 05 or 06; right now, it looks like i'll be sticking with my mazda 6..

cheers fellas

Price increas considered, the '06 will be a much better buy. Especially if your getting the same 5% anyway. In the grand scheame, 1 more month is nothing. Plus if you get the '05, do you think you would feel the same when ever an '06 cruises by? Dubai looks beautiful by the way.

Never thought of it like that Blue- good point and i think that just sold it to me anyway, i'm off to the dealer tomorrow morning to put a deposit so i make sure they book me one of the first orders!!!

and Dubai- daaamn.. i've been here for going on 1 year now, and each and every day, there's some crazy new underwater hotel, or world's tallest tower, or 'the world' www.theworld.ae ! lol ! this place is sweet- the weather is the only real setback as far as i'm concerned - which is why, for example, the dealers here wont import any roadsters unless they are Modified for the heat its all good though..

anyway, i guess 2006 Z it is
