New Roadster Owner
Hi Folks,
A I spent time lurking here before I bought, thought I would share my purchase details for those still looking...bought a 2005 Roadster Enthusiast with auto, 18" wheels, side air bags and the other basic options for $33,600 in MD. Price included Destination/Trans and a $100 processing fee....Will register and pay taxes in NC...still working in NO VA, but moving south soon. Did all this over the internet as I was living in Germany,(no, did not bring anything back...euro/dollar rate still sucks). Needed the Z bad and based on my limited time/research, was happy with the deal.
Have driven the car for about a week (200 miles) and experienced my first run in with the TPMS this morning. Was about a mile from the house when the warning indicator came on...Panicked, stopped and checked tires...No visible flat....added a few pounds of air to each to reach 35 PSI..drove a mile or two, and indicator went out. Have not had a chance to research capabilities/limitations of the TPMS, so not sure if I have a tire or system problem.
Great forum!

Sorry about the pics....all my stuff is still coming slow boat from Europe....looks just like the pic in my id block.... Five hundred miles and no issues....added some hot VA air to the tires (less than two pounds) and no more TPMS problems....think I over reacted when the sensors went off...probably a drop in outside temp caused the issue.
Love the top down on these beautiful fall days!
