Default about to buy this 03 need your input thanks

I test-drove an 03 350Z touring with only 7k miles on it today.

The price is $23000. Everything is like-new. It has the remaining warrantty on it.

I do not know if it has the tire feathering problem since the tires are new.

Is this a good price? Do I need to buy extended warrantty just in case to cover the suspension problem?

thanks.

I would ask about the in-service date to see how much warranty is left and also ask about the feathering. Maybe it got taken care of already. I'd also ask for any maintenance paperwork they've got. I think you could get them down a little bit more, but I don't know exactly which additional options it has. Does it have nav etc?

I'd also recommend running a CARFAX check on it to make sure it's clean.

this car is clean title from a Lexus dealer. In case after I bought it, and the tire feathering problem occurs, Can I go fix it with the remaining factory warranty?

Don't flame me here please. But, I have a rule of thumb. Never buy a used car from a dealer that sells a different make than what you're buying.

My reasons are:

1. It was a Trade-In by an unsatisfied customer.
2. Was picked up at an auction (though probably not a Lexus dealer)
3. They will not have any of the maintenance records or any history.

Good idea. I recommend that you buy a car based on mileage not model year.

No. An extended warranty is for people who do not understand statistics.
