Default Easy way to tell model difference?

This is probably a stupid question, but is there a way to look at a 350Z and be able to tell which model it is?
I know there isn't a badge that you can look at that will say "base", "touring", etc ... but are there some cosmetic cues?
Is there a sticker or a label on the car somewhere that states which model it is?

I did searchs on:

cosmetic differences
difference in models
how to tell what model

But I couldn't find an answer to my question =(

Actually in my driver's door sill there is a sticker that says
"2006 350Z ENTHUSIAST 2DR CPE" on mine with a barcode,
Edit:
I just went out and checked, hence the quotes.

Base, enthusiast, performance, touring: 18 inch wheels without the Rays forged alum wheels. No brembo brakes, no real factory spoiler. Apart from that, I don't think there's any difference. This just shows the difference between the Track&GT and the rest of the models.

There are amenities such as leather, wheels and Brembo which can be easy moved from one model to another. Without a keen eye even a 350Z enthusiast can be fooled.

Thanks, that is the information that I wanted. I would imagine that most of the dealers that have used 350Z's on their lots probably don't know which model it is. If there is a sticker that identifies the model somewhere on the car, then that is helpful.

Doesnt' the base come with 17" wheels?

Anyway, it's not easy to differentiate the base and enthusiast, but the Touring will always have 18" wheels, trunk lid lip, Bose stereo and leather.

The track will always have those Rays and the Brembos.

Doesn't the Track model ride a little lower than the other models?

Base is easy: no cruise control on steering wheel.

Enthusiast/Performance: no Bose stero.

Touring: Bose Stero but no Brembos

Track: See posts above.

Difference between Enthusiast & Performance is subtle: Latter has 18" wheels; former has 17". Perf has VDC; Enthu has TCS.

Good Luck!

Well I think I may have found a buyer for my current car, so I'll be out looking at Z's this weekend. I'll post pictures if I get one ... I'm really excited. I've been wanting a Z since I registered for this board a few years ago, and I think it is finally going to happen.

=)

Yep, the things I usually differentiate by:

Base: No aluminum pedals, no cruise on the steering wheel.

Enthusiast/Performance: Cruise, but with cloth seats and no bose.

Touring: Leather, bose, but no brembos.

Track: Brembos with cloth seats.

GT: Brembos and leather.

Not to thread jack, but...

Someone help me identify this model:

03' Redline Red
17" wheels, cloth upholstery, no Bose (i dont think), TCS, no idea about LSD.

Also has Xenons and trunk lid, but do HIDs come on all Z's?

I want to assume its def not a base model, which would make me feel good lol.

I think it might be an enthusiast...

Thank you guys for answering this question. I've been wondering the same thing.

I know base model 350Z doesn't come with HID.
