I will finally hard mount a radar detector. I want the Valentine One, but IT IS so butt ugly!! So I知 thinking that since I have to stare at this thing all the time I値l get the Escort, looks much nicer. Yea, I know looks are only skin deep.
So question! Does the Valentine work that much better than the Escort?
Have any of you guys used both? Thanks for any responses.
PS: At the same time I will have the shop pull out that XM stuff and install Sirius, sooo much better programing of music.

I had a PM that asked me if my APS FMIC had the APS symbol painted on it like the one on their website. He didn't know if he wanted to buy the kit if it didn't.

Function > looks...especially since function can be measured objectively while looks is purely subjective

I got the Escort......Its Great!!

 

Escort 8500 works great. If you live in the city put it in citymode with NoX since the cops don't even use that anymore. You'll only get alerted when there really is a cop on the K, Ka, and Laser bands.
