so i love black a lot, but it is very high maitenace and was thinkin about gettin a silver Z, but is black really that bad? man i can't make a decision

Don't want to be 1/2 of all Z owners with a silver.

 

I have owned several black cars and hate how much work they take to show well. Silver looks good even if it is dirty. Maybe I have just gotten lazier or my priorities have shifted, but washing and waxing a black car all of the time is not my idea of time well spent.

 

silver if you dont want to clean your car all the time black if you dont mind cleaning everyother day although black looks good i will never buy a black car again not worth every little spot to show but they sure look agressive!!!

 

yea i know what you mean black looks sick but i don't have time to wash it four times a week

 

Check out the new Magnetic Black. It is so cool with the metal flaking, much better than Super Black, IMHO.

i like both colors! but yeah black can be a ***** to keep clean... but silver is a very popular color...

i'm biased so my opinion don't matter but i say black because it looks sooooooo da-yum good

 

Black IS a huge pain in the butt to keep clean. BUT when clean, it is the best color LOL. I get a lot of compliments about the color. When its dusty or dirty, car looks like ****e.
I almost bought a silver one, but in so cal that is almost the only color Z on the road.
My last car a 99 Eclipse GSX was Cayane red. Loved that color, much easier to keep clean.
PS: You won't be able to go to a car wash with SB, it will scratch your clearcoat. On black you will see each scratch

Black is difficult to keep clean looking but silver is just another word for grey... booooring.

There is nothing cooler looking than a completely blacked out Z.

Get the silverstone, it looks the best out of all the silvers and they are a little rarer.

 

so far the only z i can find in my area is a silverstone performance so i will most likely be gettin that one, but i still love black

 

I bought the Super Black Roadster...hated the swirls, dust and pollen...and about 4 months later traded it in for the Silverstone Roadster. I absolutely LOVE the Silverstone color on this car, and I wash it about 1/20th as much as the Black.

I will NEVER buy another black car.
