Non-Nissan Dealer OK?
I noticed other dealerships besides Nissan selling new Nissan cars, which they claim the car has full warrenty etc from the dealership.
Is it OK to buy from these types of dealers?
Any experience with them?

Yes, its okay but have car checked out by good mechanic (not one from the dealer you will be buying from).

If they are advertising it as new then you should be suspicious... check your state's law for what mileage level is accepted as "New"... meaning that "new" cars are allowed to have a certain amount of miles on them and still be sold as such, as long as the vehicle wasn't previously sold. This is very common for the "mule's" or cars that are used for test drives, loaner's, and other events. That is one of the way's that dealer's are trying to save money from having to put a real "loaner" into their fleet, which can cost them quite a bit.
Oh and if this dealer is indeed selling it as used and with factory warranty, be sure to have a Nissan dealer or Carfax check to be sure that the vehicle is still under factory warranty(having less than 36,000 miles or being less than 3 years from it's delivery date) and not "black-listed" for any reason i.e. flood, lightning strike, totalled in the past, etc. if they are selling it with an aftermarket warranty, be sure to get all the details such as deductible and what it will and will not cover.
A perfect example of how things aren't always what they seem... not too far from Savannah in a small town, I looked at a Redline Touring model Z, fully loaded, with 18,000 miles for $19,500, it was a 2003 and this was before I got my first Z, so it was probably around January 2004. It was at a bike dealership of all places... they had a few other cars sitting around so I assumed they used their wholesale license to buy the car at auction. No problem with that, happens all the time... BUT since I worked at a dealership I was quite suspicious so I did some research... "low and behold" as they say, I found that the Z was a flood damaged Z purchased from a mid-Georgia auction for $10K and the best part is that it had no warranty! The seller did not deny this when I mentioned it, but neither did he advertise it...SO BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!
