Well last night It went all the way, my needle said 160 but I am not sure what the digital read out said on the pod??? Any one compared???

ive hit 176 according to my gps unit. the avic n1 is really accurate. i dont really use the pod. and as to this guy, you need to loosen up. EVERYBODY has done it. dont act like your better. everybody has flown by someone else on a freeway. i topped out on the 210 freeway. we dont all have access to a track. yea, stupid people are out there and people do stupid things, but dont hate on threads. wtf. and dont even think about hating on me.

 

Handheld GPS's are not as accurate as you would like think, especially when it comes to speeds calculations.... For example, my handheld Garmin 296 (Not an approved aviation GPS) will usualy over-read by 4 to 7 knots when compaired to my GNS430, which is approved for aviation IFR approches)...

 

its not a handheld. its a navigation flip out unit in place of my stereo. it usual runs 7-8 sat connections and have a built in gyroscope with directional controls. look at the pioneer avic 1, 2, or 3. they all have the same nav unit. its the most accurate out there right now. its accurate to 10 ft. its more accurate then the one on your dash.

 

176? The z has w rated tires which means 168 is the top speed you can go on those tires but im assuming you have no mods.

 

REad more carefully he said the 210 freeway not speed. His speed was 176mph. I doubt and know he does have mods for that speed.

 

Yeah, GPS is really more accurate in speed than your car's speedometer

 

ok, just so you all stop hating. my speedo was past 160, my engine was about to hit 6600 rpms and when i looked down at my avic it said 176 and I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT IT IS MORE ACCURATE, so if you were being sarcastic "wired", then do your f***ing homework. i might know more about this then you. im new to z's but ive worked on cars my whole life. and to Iw3, i have 19 inch racing harts with z rated Pirreli P-Zeros, so my tires can handle way more than 168. and i think its stupid that i post 1 post and abunch of people bull**** me, call me a liar and act like im some dumbass with cash and bought a z. this is my 5th car, im 19, no mommy and daddy didnt buy it, and this WILL be my 3rd show car. you all should be ashamed of yourselfs, you could all learn from the minitruck scene. people dont assume the worst about people. makes me regret buying a import. my bad for thinking this forum was for z owners to help z owners. and to those who have helped, i thank you.

right after lone hill going east. i started to slow down after san dimas., myby alittle after, i got off at mountain

 

LOL Lonehill is were my wife works off from. You mean going East towards the new 210 side towards Upland/Rancho ?

 

yea, i got off like 10 minutes before rancho. so your wife works in glendora huh. hey, whats up with this site? why do ppl like to act like they are better then everyone? i thought this was to love cars?
