Out of State - Pay No Tax?
I live in Florida. If I buy a car in another state, do I still pay sales tax?
Just wondering because I know when you buy products on the internet that have no brick and mortar location in your state, you do not pay sales tax. I've also read this on cars for sale on Ebay.
If this is the case, why doesn't everyone go to a different state to buy high dollar items?

the hassle of flying to the other state to check out the car then drive back or ship them back and out of state fee/tax when you register your car.

I depends, if you buy off eBay I think that somehow qualifies for the no sales tax but I don't know for sure b/c I haven't done it. But I live in Missouri and bought my Z in Oklahoma City b/c of the price and mileage on the Z and I had to pay Sales Tax in my own state. So I am not sure but I think you'll always have to pay sales tax.
