Smile Just A Quick Question

Hello everyone,

This is my very first post on this forum and I would just like to ask a simple question. Now I know everyone's initial reaction will be to do a search on the topic, and I did that, now I just need some suggestions. So my question is, does this sound like a fair deal to you? I am looking to buy a 2006 Base 350 Z, in the Houston area, by the end of February. Here is a copy of the best quote I have received so far:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
2006 350Z Coupe

Silverstone with charcoal interior

All standard factory equipment plus:

- Floor mats

- Trunk mat

- Splash guards

- Cargo convenience package

- Aluminum kick plates

MSRP: $28,545

Internet discount: <$1,409>

Your special internet price: $27,136 +ttl
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now I know that this is basically a quote just to get me into the dealership, but I am just curious to everyone else's opinion. Thanks everyone for reading and any questions/comments would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds good.

Brand New.

Base is a good platform to work on.

Put a good downpayment, like me and you can get a low payment per month. Like $350.00 a month. I've payed mine off and loved my z since day one.

That's pretty much the best you can do I'd say. Take that quote and shop around to see if any other dealers can beat it. Good Luck!

Deal seems pretty good.

I bought my 04 Base last Jan 2005, brand new, I got mine for $26,600 out the door.

1,409 off, screw that you can do much better. The salesman is taking a nice vacation on you Look up the invoice price and taken 500-1000 off of that and make your offer. I bet you anything that MSRP has a 500-1500 "dealer" markup thing in it. Could be for oil changes, door protecters etc... all dealers add that crap so all they are doing is taking that off i bet.

Sounds good guys! Thanks everybody for the replies. I think I am just going to offer $25,690 if I can't find a better deal. This is a pretty stressful process, but will be so worth it in the end. Again thanks everyone, I'll keep y'all updated.
