Default $28,571.22 Best Otd

Hey guys, I need your help here. Dealership just quoted $28,571.22 as the best OTD price on a 2006 base after tax, title license and doc fees. What do you think of this price?

MSRP is $28,745
Thanks

Definitely correct on this one. OTD is not a good comparison for deals on this message board. Different states, different fees, different tax rates, etc. Not to mention trades can effect the tax amount, etc., and the OTD can be misleading.

I bought an 05 Enthusaist in October of 04 and I got the car for $27,550. I'd have them go lower, or play the dealer's game. Have them write down their rock bottom lowest price, tell them you need some time to let it stew, and take that sheet to the next closest dealer. Shady? Yes, but so are comission salesmen.

+1

OTD is meaningless unless you live in the same zip code. What's the price before tax, lic, etc?

Please do not misinform the posters here... that VPP program is 2.87% below invoice and then Nissan adds 2.55% delivery fee... so it ends up being almost invoice!

But still, one heckuva deal on a Z!

He's quoting me $25,807 pre tax and other included fees for the base. What do you think of that price?

Based on seeing plenty of insightful posts by davidv regarding price, I am going to trust that his previous offer suggestion is pretty strong. Being that you are right there, I would think this is a very solid offer that is being made to you.

Did you buy it yet?
