2003 Stillen Supercharged 350Z

I'm selling my Z on ebay for anyone that checks here. Not too sure where to post it now cause it's been forever and a day since I've been on this site and its been redesigned.
If it's in the wrong place just let me know! www.twistedframe.com

No, it never did sell, and I am totally shocked.
This is THE hottest Z around and I only know that because I cannot go anywhere without attracting a crowd to it and hearing the affirmations directly from the onlookers.
I had a starting bid of $28,000, and a reserve price of $32,000 (which is high for a stock 2003 Z, yes) But this car is way far from stock! -AND, there are only 20,000 miles on it!!!!
I would have let it go for 28 if someone would have just bid on the thing!! So, I wonder what people were thinking about it? Honestly, was the price just too high or too low? I imagine that 28 was not too high, so people may have been thinking that something is bad wrong with it for being so cheap, but I don't know. It also could have been the ad that I made for it. Too confusing for most people. There were actually thumbnails on the page that you click on that would launch a slideshow, and that proves to be too much for most peoples' capacity as well. I should have known when I sent the ad to my parents and they had no clue what to do with it. There was also a "waiver of liability" at the bottom that could have scared most people away as there were big words such as "Risk" and phrases like "I am 18 years of age or older" listed in it. This was a total joke that I even put that in there.. Again, that probably stemmed from my personal fear of selling the car and that was my way of dealing with it and sabotaging my own sale.
I was actually very relieved that no one bought it too because this car is totally customized to my personal standards and it would be the strangest thing selling it to someone else, sort of like selling your kids off or something!
The car is still for sale however, and I am motivated enough to get rid of it, I just need to get around to reposting it later this week. All I am trying to do at this point is get out from underneath it and make no money on it at all. I realize that cars are depreciating assets and it's ludicrous to try and make money off of something like this, especially being used as it is.
This is a HUGE loss to me, and I've already told my girlfriend that we are going to build 4 more to replace this one. Who knows.. Maybe by then I'll have my Murcielago, and won't want a Z anymore?? Or, I could just end up settling for a HoverRound!
I did get an offer however for a trade and cash for an open-wheel formula car from the east coast, which was tempting, very very tempting in fact, but the truth of the matter is, that I want to free up all the extra cash I can, and a trade wouldn't do that.
The whole ordeal is stressing me out so bad, that I am starting to lose hair over it.
I know that it's only a Nissan, and they are going to make more, but this is THE THE THE hottest car I have ever driven, so I am a bit biased.
So, I'll be going back to my everyday driver accord, and I'll build a shifter kart to make up for my lack of BREAK-NECK acceleration I've come to love so much!
Help me Obi-wan, you're my only hope.

28k is pretty high alot of people are looking for a deal. You have to understand when you mod your car your never going to get close to what you put into it unless its a rare car like a supra tt or something like that but because people can find 350z all over the place for much cheap it going to be hard to sell it for 28 when you can get a 06 for that or a used 04 for around 21k and have 7k to do there own mods. I personally think its a good deal but i still would not pay that much for it i would saty lower your price to 24-25k and you may have a better chance to sell it.

GL man.
GL man.
It is the Stage 1 setup. I have a video of it on the dyno that I can post but I am so damn swamped at work here, that I won't have time to put it up for a couple of days. It makes a badass sound that is clearly audible from the video and added an extra 50 or so hp.
The car ended up making 312hp and 280tq to the wheels. It's also apparently been chipped as well, because the speed limiter was moved up to 160. Now, I don't know for sure if ONLY track model Z's have the limiter set that high but I know that the other models don't. I was talking to a guy that has an enthusiast model, and he said that his has a soft limit at 148. All I know is that mine hit 160 on the dyno with NO problem at all.

Roger that. This is true, however I need to get out from under it and 28 is higher than my current payoff amount (which I don't know right now) and that was just a number that was thrown out there at the time. I could talk to the bank and strong arm them into a lower payoff amount and just sell it for that if no one steps up to get it anytime soon.
Seriously tho, I just want it gone.
Like I said, I will work something out after I get out of the weeds here at work and get some time to devote to it.
Exactly… you aren’t going to get hardly anything for mods unless you can find the right buyer who just happened to want those mods. Most people look at cars as status symbols and a Z with 20k in mods is still a Z to most people who see you driving it… I do a lot of lurking in the for sale section of this site and it seems like most FI’ed Z’s sit on the market for a while. I am a little surprised that even the ones with built engines for under 40k don’t get more interest.
Yea, it really is astounding. If they would have only made them for 2 years then we would have rare cars on our hands, but instead we have a car that the market is absolutely flooded with.
