Default Base Z questions

Until recently I wanted to buy a track, but it looks like a base with upgrades is a better deal. I am thinking about a blue one with Racing Hart C4-R 19" rims. I have a quote for the rims with Michelin PS2 tires 275/35 and 245/35 for $3675 shipped. Is that a good price? I want the NISMO spoiler and side skirts too. should I have dealer put this in the package? or am I better of getting them from some other dealer and have them installed and painted there?
I am happy for any advise.
It's getting warm and I want to get out of my jetta and into the Z

I dunno if that's a good price on the wheels since it's out of my league.

Personally, I would recommend getting as little from the dealer as possible. You can find vendors on this site that can save you money on body kits, ebay has replicas, and local shops can do the install for way less.

But if you have the money and don't want any hassles...just get the Nismo stuff from the dealer and have them put them on.

i did the same thing. i bought a base and used the money saved for aftermarket goodies. 3675 seems high to me for racing harts and tires. I would rather get volks or work wheels as my choice. Try Chris at F1 motorsports or Rick at Status. They are both sponsors of this site and get nothing but good praises from everyone. good luck!!

Man, it seems to me your giving up alot of good mechancal stuff (LSD, TCS, CC, etc) to have money for eye-candy.

Not dissing ya here; to each their own on sports car stuff. Just an opinion.

You can get the LSD, aftermarket clutch type > OEM VLSD... Also OEM Traction Control would get on my nerves and it seems most turn that off...

Only thing is the Cruise Control, but personally I hardly used it in other cars... So I can do without.

Even with the Base version you get a whole heck of alot for around 27K... And anyone who buys one now is really lucky...

Get the 300 HP motor, HID's standered, and the VLSD... Which makes it easier/cheaper to upgrade to most clutch type LSD's.

But like you said, to each their own.
