Default Problems with the 350z

Im looking to buy i used 350z, im looking at the 03 model right now, any trim. But i heard that it was the worst one nissan made, anyone know what the problems where, are? same with theh 04 any problems with it? I know it is the actuall unit and not every car but most of them seem to have some small problems?

did a search could'n find anything

I think you didn't search enough.

'03's - main problem is poor tire alignment. People were going through new tires like crazy. Nissan eventually agreed to fix under warranty.

Some people also complained about transmission and fuel filler problems.

If you're going to buy used, better (probably) to stick with an '04 built in later half of year, or later model.

OR - make sure the '03 has had the dealer fixes to the known problems. If so, then it's probably all right. Just beware, is all.

I have an '03, and I had those problems listed fixed. Additional annoyances include window streaks, rear wheel bearing clicking (gone one more to fix), and the rear hatch rubber surrounding warping (never fixed).

Minor annoyances that add up.

I am in canada and i asked them about the tires alignment and they just told me to make a new alignment, but they never changed anything...

Anyone can list all the issues for the 03 model??

So the fixed all the problems except the rubber surrounding?

ive owned my 03 from 0 miles to 22k now

-list goes as follows

-transmission = fixed under warranty
-tire feather = fixed under warranty and have had no further problems
-driver window motor = fixed under warranty
-full filler hose recall = just got the recall a few days ago, goes in tomorrow.

not being mean but what search funtion did you use?

even if the car has no warranty recall items are covered, correct?
