Default VPP plan on the 350Z

I purchased my Maxima using the VPP plan and got a real good deal on it. Do you think Nissan will honor the VPP plan on the 350Z?? I am planning on purchasing a new Z next summer by then I think that most of the dealer mark-ups should be gone. If they let me use the VPP the price will be a couple thousand below MSRP.

A price plan for Employees and suppliers. Basically you get the car at dealer invoice if I remember correctly.

Good luck but I would doubt that they'd give you a deal on THIS particular car. Too much profit to be had.

Default No!

No vpp plan on the z. The vpp plan is for vendors that work with Nissan. It allows them to purchase the Nissan vehicles at a discount. It kinda sucks because it's up to the individual dealers to give the discount or not. No takers in IL, WI,IA, MO or indiana. at least none that I called.(I called them all)

Oh yea I called them. I don't remember, but I believe they did not laugh at me when I asked about vpp. I bought my maxima on the vpp as well and got it at Gerald in Naperville. The Z will not be on the program for quite a while

I will call up Continetal and see what they can do. I personally know the owner, which I met from a bad service experience. Maybe he can help us out. What year Maxima do you have?

Default Maxima is a 97

I wish I had a friend on the inside to con him into letting me use the vpp. I won't give up my preorder for less than 5k. I have too much time into this. My dream will be realized soon

I am keeping an eye on the web page, but for now it says (underlined, in red):

Nissan 350Z is not eligible for VPP Purchase until further notice.

Maybe there is hope for the future though, for those sad people such as myself that didn't get a pre order.

I think it is best if information on the VPP, like Web pages etc. are not posted for general consumption. There are a number of internal Nissan Web sites. Everybody who can participate in the VPP knows of the Web sites, and it does no good to post this information for people who cannot participate.
