You have to remember that on top of the price of the car, you will have tax, etc. I would never worry about whether to buy a car that I hadn't seen/driven first. Go to the dealer if you're interested in that model/color and go from there. They get tons of calls, so don't expect them to take you serious over the phone. Once you get to the dealership it will be a totally different story.

That's not bad for an 05 Touring.
What to look for:
* Tranny. The shifter can be notchy but it should shift smoothly and not grind.
* Check the front tires for uneven wear towards the inner part of the tread. Also listen for road noise to sound significantly louder when slowing down from <25mph.
* Test drive it hard. You'll know if it feels right or not.

If you feel good about it and it's near or less than KBB then I would go for it. You'll be very happy with it.
You can try to get them to pay the licensing fees or something. Just say "I can only do $25k OTD and not a cent more. Licensing, tax, all that has to be included in the $25k and $25k has to be the bottom line at the bottom of the page." They'll try to eek out a little more here and there but stand firm and I think they'll budge a little.

for a SS 04 350z either performance or Enthusiast trim
is there any big difference between the two? I noticed no leather seats
and the color I really dig was White or pearl white, but not much whity out there :P
well tonight I am going to test drive and maybe try a yellow Z on the lot too
thanks for all the info you guys gave me
oh, and I won't forget to test drive as hard as I can

I don't remember the difference between the Performance And Enthusiast trims. But they got rid of the Performance trim in 05 I think. I believe it had a few more options than the Enth.
Good luck!

I can only afford 25k in loan, thats about 400/month in car payment + 100ish for insurance
should I stand my price firm or looking for a cheaper Z
please give me some inputs
thanks
