Default Who has the best apr for used car loans?

There is obviously a lot of different lenders but does anybody no of a lender w/ less than 8%? I know prime is like 8 1/4 but damn and that's w/o points being added. I have done some research but I did not know if anyone has the inside edge w/ different banks. Thanks

I did my loan through the dealership and they referenced 10 different banks and went with the one that would give me the lowest APR and that didn't require a co-signer.

Ended up getting a 7% APR with a 5 year term from a place called Metropolitan Bank (out of MA). Talk to the dealer and see what they can offer.

I had an offer through Capital One when I was applying for a loan back in February, and it was 8%. The dealer was able to give me 7% though!

Ran into the same problem buying my FX. I ended up taking out a personal loan with a family member instead of going through a lender.

Rates have really skyrocketed. Best I was getting was 8.5-9 for a used private party lender. Dealers were a little less used, but compare it to an under 5 for a new car and you feel like your just getting ripped of. That few % can be thousands and make the diff between buying new and used.

Too many factors play into it to give a solid number. The amount put down, your credit rating, national interes rates, promo offers, etc.. all contribute to your interest rate.
