Question 350Z California 2006 vs 2007 Pricing

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for a 350Z Silverstone Touring Roadster which is available all over the place as far as for 2006 model is concerned. In California the going price is around $38,000 as the manufacturers suggested retail price. I've been able to get it down to around $34,000 (which is at the invoice price) and I'm sure I could get it even lower.

This being the case, I was wondering what the possible price for the 350Z Touring Roadsters will sell for when they are finally released? $41,000 as the Manufacturers suggest retail price where I probably could only get it then at $39,000 at best? Or, will the new 2007's be at the same $38,000 suggested retail price like the 2006's? Are the 2007's so radically better that I should just simply wait since it's only 1 month away? Or should I consider purchasing it now?

I take it that the 350Z for 2007 will be announced in January and then possibly delivered to dealerships in February? Is this the case? Or?

Also, from my understanding, the engine for the 2007 is new (or comes in 2 flavors)...with a bit more horsepower. To me, regardless, the 350Z is an awesome car no matter if it's 2004,2005,2006, or 2007. I really could go either way, I just don't know which way is better (money wise). I guess, I just don't know how much additional I would have to pay to have a 2007 and if it truly justifies waiting for it.

Any input would be great!

Thanks, happy driving, and I hope everyone is having a great Thanksgiving,
Jason

Nissan has made no price announcements for the 350Z 2007.

2007 performance? The specs are posted in the general forum.
