I'm in the market to get a 350z. And have stumbled upon a couple, and this one caught my eye. I havn't test driven it yet, but it looked to be in good condition, tell me what you all think please. I really appreciate it.

It's hard to say at the moment espcially when the first car has no mileage listed..unless I missed it. As for the second car I think you are paying for all the after market parts and not the car. I personally would stay away from that one. There are cleaner cars out there. ~80k is miles is a lot. I do like how they say the car has bucket rear seats though. Where can I get one of those for my Z . As for other car being an enthusiast, it's hard to tell from the pictures. I can say that it's not a track or and touring.

Drive the car. Does it shift easily? How do the front tires look? If you like the car buy it.

I would advise you to do more than that. In a nutshell you are trying to buy somebody else's 69K miles toy. You don't know the history or condition of the car. Around 75K is when most parts that are going to fail start to rear it's ugly head. I would drive the car, see it you like it, then pay for a 3rd party service to inspect the car. You can pay Nissan to do a full check on the car for around 100K. They will even do a compression test on the car's engine. I personally would not buy this car but if you want it see if you can get a better price. KBB has this car stock at around 14,500. I've worked in the auto industry before and I know that the trade-in value is the closest to what the actual value of the car. But even trade-in value is a retail estimate. Dealers will own the car based on National Black book value. This info. is only available to wholesale businesses and varies by market zones. I can not tell you how much that dealer owns that car but I can tell you whatever the asking price they have at least 2-3K profit/wiggle room. I think the best thing for you to do is calculate how much the car is worth stock, then do an estimate on the aftermarket parts used and see how close you get on the asking price.

why would you not buy this car, besides the 69k miles and the fact that it is a toy. How much would it be for nissan to inspect it. I'm really hoping that 100k is a misprint.
