The issues are kinda year-dependent but typically the "big" issues are:

transmission
premature tire wear
oil consumption

The other stuff is minor. Search the site for any of the above and you can read all about them.

tranny trouble is with MT.

why, are you thinking of getting AT? MT is way better despite the issues. car drives so unique, like no other MT i've drivin before.

well my fiance is taking, playing a factor in the tranny selection. i currently have a 6spd, i guess i just feel that there isnt that much difference in the ride to have to deal with clutch issues. and where i live 95% of the traffic is stop/go. and it just gets to be annoying

Well honestly you are still being stupid if you let your girlfriend make this decision for you. I know what you are saying, "But we are in love and we will be together forever. Well i thought the same thing and last january i bought an 06 honda civic lx sedan automatic, except i put my feyonce on the loan with me to help build her credit. Well needless to say 4 months later she is living with some dude and then a month later im in an 06 Z but im still having to sell the civic. Just know that if shes not *****ing at you about the 6 speed its going to be something else, it always is.
