I was thinking I'd start back up at $26OTD and work up to $27OTD if push came to shove.

Thanks again everyone! This Sat I'm gonna check it out. I'm going to test drive an 07 as well....just in case!

Got there, saw on the windshield "$5000 Off w/ rebates", sticker on window said $30,585. In my head I was psyched!!!

Sit down, he starts w/ $33,585. I'm like whah? "Oh, for the chrome rims we threw on."

I said $28k OTD, no go. Next thing I know, a deal w/o the rims came out to $29,585 before TTL. Or, w/ rims $30,585. I walked.

Ya look at the E-price at the top of this thread it was $28,768.

Can anyone recommend a San Diego area dealer? Thanks bros!

07 all the way now!!!

I mean I know I'm an idiot and probably look it but I got a good education here. I should've had all the printouts w/ me.

Also, the guy showing the car to me said there isn't any difference at all between the 06 and 07...except for a new hood bulge. "That's the only difference."

Doesn't matter. The salesman would say that your numbers are wrong.

I gotta call and find out the MSRP on the one I PM'd you on.

I also emailed Carsdirect to see if they can locate a 2007 Enth 6MT.

Thanks for following up! You go that extra mile!

5AT's though from their online inventory.

Can they do the deal with another SoCal dealer and have a 6MT brought over?

I tried to get them to do it but they said they couldn't. Talked to other dealers and they said the Mossy's are a big dealership and are difficult and unwilling to do trades. Oceanside is close to me but I got mine in the OC.

I know this is an old thread, but look at this way, I'll be picking up a Touring 06 in a few days with 5k miles on it. I got it for 28k OTD (before 10500 trade in) and the book value for it is 30k everywhere and it retailed 33k+ last year. Basically, for that Enthusiast I wouldn't pay more than 26-27k for it.

E-price is dealer speak for "You won't be able to negotiate anything lower than this price, because we really want to rob you and you're supposed to think that you're getting a deal".

Edit: Damn this thread IS old!

Sure is. And I still haven't bitten the bullet. I think there are 3 '06 Enth Z's 6MT left in my surrounding area.
