NEW 06 BASE Z for $23,000 45miles..Is this a great deal?
Guys..I have been looking for a few weeks now and a dealer about 2 hours away has 1 350z base 06 left 6spd MSRP 28,655 ... Finally got him down to $23,000 for it.. it's been test driven so that;s where the 45 miles comes from...local dealer by me has same car and laughed at me , said $24,500 and would not budge! said will wait till Spring and sell it...
Is this a go for 23,000 plus tax??? Or no..I value everyone's opinion on here!!! or has it depreciated too much and stay away and go for a used 06?
THANKS EVERYONE!!!

When I was originally shopping for a Z, I was looking to find a sweet deal on an 06 and save some cash... but then I saw the 07. It was a tough choice, but I thought the new motor and hood were worth the extra 3k. Its a personal decision, but I couldn't talk myself into an 06.

Note: all vehicles depreciate. A car with 50 or 500 miles that is not been titled is considered new.

Has it been test driven once or many times? Also, if it's been test driven, don't you think all those previous people beat the crap out of it? I always read stories about people running those test-driven cars hard to see what it's capable of.

Actually when I worked for Nissan, anything that had under 5000 miles was considered new with C of O.
Hmm thats a pretty good deal. I got my 07 Enthusiast for 27,850 + tax tags. Could have snagged a base 07 for 26,600. So if the 3600 difference means a lot to you go for the 06.
Another way to look at it assuming you get a base 07 for 26,600, as mentioned, is that the payments would be about 60-90 dollars (roughly) more depending on your interest rate.
Either way enjoy your car when you get it

If you keep the car for a long time, the age of the car becomes much less important than the milage. If it is what you want in a new car, you're in luck as it sounds like a very good deal.
