I basically bought the same car (miles and package) a few weeks ago. Out the door 16.5k.

I see you are in Ft. Collins. There is a black 350z at a dealership by my work in Colorado Springs, I cant remember the name of the dealership but I can PM you with it tomorrow. It pays to shop around.

EDIT< oops, just saw you already bought it. Congrats and have fun!!!

Yup, I agree.

I do my research, I check the online dealer inventories, I email an offer, (usually $500 below invoice) and usually within 24 hours, i have made a deal. I used similar techniques over the phone/fax in the pre-internet days. But I won't visit a dealership until its time to pick up the vehicle. I may not always get the best price, but I always get a fair price.

For an amatuer to try to outplay the dealer's games, which dealers play day in and day out it like trying to beat the house at Las Vegas.
