Question Help! Quick advice!:)

Ok, I've been looking for a slightly used 350 for 5 months now. Found one and test drove it but I wanted your guys opinion if its a good price or not. Here's a link to the car:

http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...eadExists=true

They came down on price to $23,500- roughly 25K total after TTT. It is pretty clean (minor front bumper paint cracking), no previous modification, and a perfect carfax. They said it has $1,500 into speakers and the DVD system also which might explain the higher price

If I'm speading ~25K on a 2 owner, 16,000 miles Z, should I consider stepping it up a little more to get a brand spankin new baseline? If so, I'm not sure if I should put the difference into wheels and performance or just get a clean slate.

Thanks in advance!!! I can't wait to find my Z and begin enjoying the car that I've been wanting since the day I first saw one!

Yeah that's what I thought....350's are kind of hard to find around here (I drove 102 miles just to find this one) and it is pretty good condition with the low miles. Maybe I should try to get them to come down on price more? I'm itchin for a Z and trying to not buy somethign I will regret

no such thing as a manual 5sp, that is overpriced, don't get a base anyway.
no lsd, cruise control or traction control.
at least bump up to an enthusiast

Thanks, I didn't think there was a 5 speed manual. Maybe I'll look around a little bit mroe before I settle on it. Its hard to find good condition used ones around here and I wanna enjoy it this summer!

Ok, so what would you guys say is a fair price for this car? Keeping in mind it does have roughly 1.5K in audio/video, tint, overall good condition, and they are somewhat hard to find around here. I want to see if I can get the guy to come down more to something fair. And if he won't- I'll go find a 06-07 new one at a dealer, or....keep waiting to find a good condition used.

Thanks!!!

i think a fair price would be around 20k. its an 04, i got my preowned 06 with 11k miles for 23k. i dont think a stereo upgrade would account for the price being that high.

Ok, thats's kind of the price that I was thinking. I didn't think the system and other junk were worth it being thaaaaaaat high either. I'll see if he can still come down to around 20, and if not- just hold off on my Z fever and find one elsewhere. I already found a dealer with a 07 base exactly how I want it!

For accurate retail and wholesale prices check KBB.

Ok, I just did a check on the KBB suggested retail value for it and came up with $23,510 which is pretty much what he is asking before TTT.

So should I be getting him to come down more from that suggested retail? I know the audio doesn't have a resale value of even 1K so i'm not sure exactly what to think. I think I'm getting confused the more I think about it.

If you are serious about buyer a 350Z, then you have to make an offer.
