Looking at an 04 Touring. Things I should check befor I make an offer?
Hey guys i'm looking at an 04 Touring with 5k miles on it(seems kinda low for this year). There asking 24,488 for it what price should I aim for? Also since it has low miles for that year what are some ways to check on it see it was involved in any accidents or had any major repairs done to it. I've been waiting a long time to find the right Z but I dont want to jump on a deal that i'm going to regret in a year. Thanks!
I would take it over to whoever you would have work on it. Most places will do an inspection for a small fee.
I don't know the price seems a little high to me but I will let the experts around here tell ya how much you should offer.
at 5k miles its pretty much new in my book.

I'll try to talk them down to at least 23k or if i'm lucky 22k. If a mechanic says its ok then maybe finaly after all my searching I'v found the right Z. Any reason someone would put 5k on a Z and then sell it?

It had 8700 miles.
I kept it 7 years and added 52K. The best car I ever owned.

Car Fax the VIN number....its worth the money for a good self assurance.
I bought my '04.5 Z touring with 9350 miles, for 24,000 a year ago.
Probably a little bit high, but the mileage doesn't really give the price a huge boost. Does it have any Mods or anything out of the ordinary to help the selling feature ?
