Default Choices.....

I know every car has there problems, but I also know the 2003 350z seems to have a few more than the other year models.
I am looking to purchase a 350z and here locally there is a 2003 with 25,000 miles and a 2005 with 45,000 miles both are available in the same price range. Would it be wiser to go with the 2003 with fewer miles, or go with the 2005 and maybe opt out of some of the kinks that came with the first year of production. Both are used cars of course and don’t have full details on the repairs to either cars. 2005 still is under warranty not so sure about the 2003

It's tough to say. Do they have identical options? Does one have brembo's and the other have non-brembos? What about navigation? What about paint condition?
Most '03s still have some power train warranty. In the states it's 5 years or 60 000 miles I believe.
If all things are equal, I may tend toward the '05, since it's resale value may be a little higher than the '03's in a few years.

well depending on if you plan on keeping the car till it basically dies or not, get the 05 if u plan on selling it a few years down the road, but get the 03 if u want to drive it for a long while...and the 03 was prolly not a daily driver, so it should be in better condition

Check Consumer Reports reliability data. The choice is clear.
