Default First time nissan owner need help buying tonight or tommorow

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

went to a different dealership drove the z fell in love with it, drove like a dream,

which means that the other z i drove must have truly been a piece of crap because it drove horribly and even though it was a touring package and included nismo intake and exhuast it just didnt feel like a worthy car to purchase

ANYWAYS i decided and bought a 2004 350z Enthusiast, car has 49k miles got it for $20,000 out the door with a 7 year/100k powertrain warranty, i couldnt be happier

gonna pick it up in a week i can't wait this is going to be the longest week in my life.

The G sounds like a good deal but you will like modding the Z more, its a little cheaper to mod a z than g also.....i own a Z and I looked at G35 and s2000 before I bought. I went with the Z because out of all 3 the Z drove the best and The interior was great and it was the fastest car out of the 3 in 2004when I bought. The G looks more exotic but when sitting next to the Z,The Z stands out more, Dealbreaker, The Z is race ready, that is the reason I chose the Z. It would be nice if you could see both cars sitting side by side.....but really I want a GT-R but cant afford it Those new 2008 G37 with 330 HP are F**king NICE!!!!!!

Welcome.

MSRP of a new vehicle is fixed so a good deal is reasonably easy to figure out. On the other hand, used car prices vary widely. And trying to figure out a good deal is a guess at best.

If you are a sports car enthusiast, you already know which choice to make.

why would the G be more expensive to fix up, if they pretty much uses the same parts all around? If all things equal, I'd go with the one that has the lower milage, if you're going to be modding, I also agree that the Z will be more fun to mod.

UPDATE:

drove the z and it drove like crap, i found out that it was a demo model and a return on lease, previous owner put nismo cai and exhaust on it so odds are it was beaten on i didnt like the way the car drove at all.

the g35 drove like a dream but the salesman wouldnt negotiate at all all he could do was knock off $500 the original asking price, thats bullcrap I dont wana buy from someone so uncooperative as that

today i'm going to look at another z (touring with no mods) and another g35 coupe (brembos)

i'm willing to believe the z didnt drive well because it was that specific car I hope the next one i drive is in good shape as i still feel it is the sportier car

Yeah I'd go with the Z also. The G sounds like a good deal, but the Z would be way more fun to mod. And a warranty, no matter how long, is a nice thing to have when you buy a used car.
