I told him the same thing but it some work aquaintance that we became friends. He trades like every year he told me. He doesn't seem to get it because dealers are asking money over. But I've done all I can to tell him, I'll let you know if he does it

had a friend of mine came in to trade her SUV...apparently, she and her husband did an 18 month payment deferment on a Mitsubishi Montero and after 4 years, she brought it in and tried to trade it in and was $18k tanked...her trade in appraised at $7,000 and she owed $25,000...

Yeah, and people in hell want ice water too, but they ain't gonna get it.

Dealerships can't even sell NEW Zs for MSRP. Why would he think he could sell a used one for MSRP.

My guess is his little scheme will cost him $3-5000.

TANSTAAFL!*

Pretty clear he doesn't understand the concept of depreciation, but my God, he has to know what sales tax is right?

This is why they need to teach money management in school.

I think you have to be in vegas to get a 350z. Check out their "fun fares" on their website.

hahahaah. Who's going to buy a used car in MARYLAND out of all places in January for sticker? The Nismo Z is sitting in lots right with little to no miles. If someone wanted a nismo Z in January, they could find a new one for the same price, if not better.

Hahaha, brilliant people, obviously. It's almost appalling to think about how many people are upside down on their mitsu's.
