Default demand from dealer??

What should I demand from the dealer? i am currently in talks about purchasing a 2007 350z, they asked me what can they "do" for me.

I was thinking clear bra, any of you guys have any other suggestion?

“What can I do for you?” is code for “What are you willing to pay?”

If you are going to finance the car, I would get their absolute lowest price. That way you pay less monthly and in the long run. Then use the $ you saved on mods. I am sure others will disagree, but that would be my approach. Check this thread for price info. https://my350z.com/forum/buying-leasing/248931-official-2007-350z-price-thread.html

Forget dealer accessories and get the lowest price possible.

Say no to the bra and don't allow them to put a dealer sticker on your bumper or a dealer license plate holder.

Correct. You should know what you're going to pay before you sit-down with them.

dealers get the cheapest person to "do" any extras people want not the "best" person.. go get the stuff done you want yourself.

Nothing is free and in todays market your best bet is to worry about price and service and not "freebies"

Know 2 things once you decide on a car to purchase...

1) What are you willing to pay for the car? Be realistic, set a mark, and stick with it. Even if it is the "perfect car", if it's $2500 more than you are willing to pay, walk away. There will be another.

2) Know your financing options before you let the dealer talk you into financing there. Check around at your bank, local credit unions, etc.

If you want other stuff on the car (tint, clear bra, stuff like that), check prices at reputable shops in town and compare with the dealers. Often, dealer's will have decent people do the work but charge you a ton extra for it.

why are you even looking at the 07 Z's for? Didnt you say "I'm getting a classy BMW 3 series" If you totaled an 03 imagine what you would do to the 07? Stop get some driving lessons and learn more about the Z before shooting your mouth off. My advice is buy the Bimmer and dont total anymore innocent Z cars.

Decide your lowest price and stick with it. Once they agree tell them you'll only take it if they throw in the clear bra.

Now this is a good one!

I bought first year out 2006 330i loaded. Got zip comments.
I bought 2007 335i turbo which is over rated & got zip comments.
I hated the sport package & garbage runflat tires & got rid of my BMW's.

I just bought my first 350Z Touring on 10/24 & already zillion comments!
More important then comments: the Z is way more FUN to drive!

First you don't demand anything or you'll get ZIP!
Ask nicely & make offer @ or little above invoice price!
Forget all the other garbage u can add on later as it will make u seem greedy!
