Default 17,000?

I have a chance to get a 2004 350z, bone stock, enthusiast that i know was taken care of. It has 45000 miles on it . He is asking 17k, anyone think this is alittle high? Any tips on what I might have to check on the car? Will the clutch still be ok fro another 40-50k miles. I only plan on lightly modding it with intake exhaust and suspension. Then just apperence mods.

That sounds like a fair deal I'd say? Doesn't hurt to see if he'll bend a bit on price, but that's a bit lower than what some of the local dealers are selling 04's for. Clutch should be ok if he took care of it like you said. In case you haven't read much here, it's a fact that black Z's are faster than any other color.

Its a fair price... Tho if your looking for something lower or maybe as a bargin tactic find more similar equipped/priced cars. it shouldnt be too tuff as there are tons of em for sale all over the place.

Price sounds fair; have a mechanic check it out first.

Seems a bit high to me...And to answer your question the stock clutch will likely not make it another 40-50k miles like you asked...Again, that all depends on how well he drove the car...But I'd say its doubtful...

A brand new 07 or 08 base Z can be had for 23-25k...I've seen 06 enthusiasts with 15-25k miles going for 20-21k...

You should be able to pick that car up for 15k...16k MAX...

You sold that for pretty cheap ...But thats an example of how cheaper prices are always out there...If your not in a rush I'd either have him walk that price down or search elsewhere...

must be where you live because in south FL thats a GREAT deal. i would expect more around 18k for an 04 i personally know is running perfect. Used cars are like a gamble. Do you like your odds rolling the dice on a different ride?

Unless your putting those miles on 1/4 mile at a time, the OEM clutch should be good for 100-150K.
